‘ICF Next’ asked our expertise to deliver the complete audio-visual support during the ‘European Consumer Summit 2021’ at the ‘Thon EU Hotel’ in Brussels. An annual event with normally 500 stakeholders who attend the plenary sessions and participate in workshops in 4 parallel break-out rooms. This year’s online Summit was hosted from Lisbon by the Minister of State for the Economy and the Digital Transition, and almost 1000 stakeholders attended the online plenary sessions and 4 online workshops. We installed an online studio set-up in each room with the necessary cameras, videoconference connections for remote speakers, image switching, a 6-meter-wide printed backdrop for the plenary room. etc. Speakers and hosts in the rooms and in Portugal were brought in connection with several remote speakers from all over Europe to debate and watch their presentations. We customized all the livestreams with the Summit’s branding, and everyone could participate actively with the online Q&A during the entire event. All the plenary sessions were livestreamed with an easy selection for the simultaneous translation in 5 different languages.
