For the second edition of the European Capitals of Inclusion and Diversity Awards, organized by the European Commission to mark the launch the EU Diversity Month, AVP was asked to provide technical expertise and assistance before and during the show. As the entire event needed to be broadcasted to every corner of the EU, simultaneous translation into 7 languages and even sign language interpretation for the hard hearing or deaf viewers was required. Subsequently we connected all the online interpreters to our local system, in such a way that people present in the room, but also online, could follow the event in the language of their choice. Camera’s installed across the room captured every angle of the award show, and were mixed with background images and lower thirds for the final result that was shown in the livestream. Additional equipment, such as a teleprompter, show lights and sound, were also installed by our team on-site.
